AGE AND IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
LAW REQUIRES THAT WE HAVE PROOF OF AGE AND IDENTIFICATION OF ANYONE GETTING PIERCED OR HAVING JEWELRY INSERTED INTO A PIERCING. THIS INCLUDES MINORS.
ADULTS:
In order to be pierced or have jewelry inserted into a piercing you must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid photo ID. Acceptable identification includes a drivers license, passport, state issued identification card, or military ID.
MINORS:
1. We must have proof of both age and relationship to parent/legal guardian;
2. Both parent and minor must be present to sign the release form and both must provide a state or federally issued picture ID (Drivers License, State ID, Passport, Military ID, etc.), on which last names and/or addresses match*. A school issued photo ID or yearbook picture ACCOMPANIED BY A BIRTH CERTIFICATE is acceptable for minors younger than driving age.
* If the parent’s last name and address is different from the minor there must be legal documentation to prove the relationship. (Birth certificate, divorce documentation, adoption papers, etc.)
*Photo copies of IDs are not acceptable.
AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR SPECIFIC PIERCINGS:
- We do not pierce minors below the neck, with the exception of the navel.
- We will not perform single point piercings or surface piercings on minors.Â
Below are the piercings we will perform based on age:
16 years of age or older:
- Earlobes
- Ear cartilage
- Navel
- Facial piercings
- Oral piercings
15 years of age or older:
- Earlobes
- Ear cartilage
- Navel
- Nostril
- Eyebrow
Under 15 years of age:
- Earlobes (18, 16 or 14 gauge only. Minor must be old enough to read and complete the consent form.)
RETURN POLICY:
JEWELRY SALES ARE FINAL with the exception of jewelry that is defective and some gifts (discussed below). We guarantee all Surgical Steel, Niobium, Titanium, and Gold jewelry against manufacturers defects for 1 year, so be sure to hang on to your receipt! Defective jewelry will be repaired or replaced.
IF YOU ARE PURCHASING A GIFT and are unsure of the size or style, please ask us to seal the jewelry in a clear pouch. In this case, the jewelry may be exchanged as long as the pouch is unopened.
ALL RETURNS OR EXCHANGES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RECEIPT!
